Lip Plumpers

For those sought after bee sting lips and the Angelina Jolie look it used to be necessary to visit your cosmetic surgeon for collogen injections or even implants. But not any more. You can save yourself loads of money, to say nothing of the risk of the dreaded trout pout, by using one of the cosmetic Lip Plumping products on the market today.

These come in various guises. There are pencils, balms, gloss and lipstick. They all work by stimulating the circulation of blood to the lips for that luscious full lipped look.

An excellent Lip Plumping pencil comes from W7 cosmetics. This soft, chunky colourless pencil comes boxed with its own pencil sharpener. As it is colourless it has the definite advantage that it can go under your favourite lipstick or lip gloss.

W7 also make a Lip Plumping lip balm which is only slightly pink tinted with a shimmering finish. This comes in a cute little tub, just right for your pocket or the smallest handbag and is meant to be re-applied throughout the day, just as you would with a normal lip balm. This item sells for considerably less than £2.00 so is a great value option.

From trendy US cosmetic house Too Faced comes the Too faced Lip Injection. This no needle injection Lip Plumper is a gorgeous lip gloss that comes in several shades and incorporates a lip plumper that has quite a kick to it. The packaging even warns wearers that their lips will tingle for 10 minutes after application.

Many lipsticks also incorporate lip plumping ingredients, Bourjois and Gale Hayman are good examples. These tend to have a milder effect than a product specifically marketed as a lip plumper but can be a good introduction to this kind of product.

So give it a try girls and pucker up.
