Here at Cosmetics4less we are often contacted by contact lens wearers, worried and confused about how safe it is for them to wear eye make up.
Almost all eye make up from reputable companies is perfectly safe for contact lens wearers and will state this on the packaging, just email us to check if you are not sure.
Just few tips and advice to help contact lens wearers.
Put your contacts in before applying your make-up.
Apply perfume, deodorant, and hair spray before inserting your lenses.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap, preferably oil free, prior to inserting lenses.
Use a water-based but water-resistant mascara that is not prone to flaking. Two thin coats are better than one thick coat. Avoid all glitter or shimmer mascaras that contain small and probably irritant bits.

Use a soft pencil eyeliner rather than a liquid or powdered version that will flake off.
Use pressed powder eye shadow rather than liquid or cream. Never use glittery, pearlized or frosted types that may contain tinsel or other small irritant bits.
Always remove your lenses before removing make up
