Anything with glitter
in is selling like hot cakes at the moment, so I think a lot of people
are planning on being really sparkling this Christmas and New Year. Possibly inspired by Strictly Come Dancing, and
is really easy to use and wear and gives a bit of glitz and glam to
everyone. No matter how old you are, what your skin or hair colour is,
we can all look great.
Glitter nail polish
comes in lots of different shades but probably the easiest solution is
to use your usual nail polish shade and add a top coat of clear glitter
Glitter lips are also very easy. Apply your usual lip gloss or lipstick and press some loose cosmetic glitter into it. Apply another coat of lipgloss on the top or try some lipstick sealer and you are away!
Glitter eyeshadow can be really effective. Be bold and apply lots of coats for maximum drama.
Body glitter comes in all sorts of colours. Sprinkle some on your temples, shoulders and bust or anywhere you want to sparkle.
The rules is don’t skimp on the glitter. If you are going to sparkle
really go for it, subtle is not the look we are going this Christmas.
Don't be tempted to borrow the kids glitter pots. Always use cosmetic grade glitter. Anything else can be dangerous, especially around the eyes. Dyes in craft glitter can also be irritant to the skin.
